Arusha National Park Day Safari
Experience diverse wildlife and stunning Mount Meru views just 45 minutes from Arusha.
Overview of the Route
Discover the diverse landscapes of Arusha National Park, a compact yet incredibly scenic park located just 45 minutes from Arusha city. This underrated gem offers stunning views of Mount Meru, crater lakes, lush montane forests, and open grasslands - all in one day. The park is home to diverse wildlife including giraffes, zebras, buffalos, warthogs, and various monkey species including the striking black and white colobus monkey. Flamingos often gather at the Momella Lakes, creating a picturesque pink display against the mountain backdrop. A highlight of this tour is the optional walking safari, allowing you to explore the park on foot with an armed ranger - something not possible in most other Tanzanian parks. This is an excellent introduction to East African wildlife and perfect for those with limited time.
